Today we got a letter in the post:
'on behalf of the Government and people of Australia, we are delighted to advise that your application for citizenship has been approved. '
BUT, it states quite clearly that we are NOT citizens until we have made our pledge of commitment. This will take place at a ceremony in the next few months. They will advise of the date shortly.
'On behalf of the Government and all Australians I offer my warmest congratulations and best wishes for the years ahead.'
