Check out those footings......Finally things are starting to happen!! We were hoping to complete our house sale in England before Christmas and have this one well under way by now, but things got a little complicated......
Basically, we didn't have building regulations for our garage conversion which was carried out back in 2004 and our buyers solicitors wouldn't let them complete until these were in place. This meant that last month, straight after Christmas; our garage walls had to be taken down and inspected and then re-insulated before retrospective building regulations could be obtained!! Anyway, things have a way of sorting themselves out. It's just that we have had a few sleepless nights and lots of grovelling this end to keep extending our completion date on our land!
